Our goal is to create an intimate and soothing environment for everyone who enters Honu You to fully relax and rejuvenate. To achieve this goal we kindly ask you to

  • Silence all devices when checking in

  • New clients please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time as we require consultation/waiver/consent paperwork prior to treatment

  • Only one client is permitted per treatment room. No one may accompany you into the treatment room during your treatment unless client is a minor child

  • Clients are only able to book appointments for themselves!

  • If you would like to book an appointment for someone else, please purchase a gift card & have them book their own appointment. This allows us to properly intake our clients information for the best possible service. - If you have a special case for this (would like to book for your child or have a surprise) please contact us directly & we will be more than happy to help accommodate for that.

  • Children are not allowed at your appointment or in the treatment room unless they are receiving a service. If you bring a child to your appointment, we will be unable to provide your treatment and this will be considered a no show for the appointment and charged as such

  • If you bring your minor child to their appointment, we ask to please leave siblings & other family members at home

  • Our lobby cannot accommodate extended family members in the waiting area

  • No photos or videos may be taken inside Honu You Hawaiian Spa without our written consent

  • If you would like to book an appointment for someone else, please purchase a gift card and have them book their own appointment. This allows us to properly intake our clients information for the best possible service.

  • Cancellation Policy - We require a minimum of 24 hour notice when rescheduling or cancelling an appointment

  • If you cancel or reschedule outside of this timeframe there will be a 50% service charge

  • No Shows - You will be charged 100% of the service book if you no call, no show to your appointment

  • Arriving Late - Your treatment time will be shorted to fit the time allowed for the specific treatment. If you arrive more that 15minutes late you appointment will be forfeited & you will be responsible for the appointment fee

  • We appreciate your understanding that you appointment is your responsibility. While we offer email, text message and phone reminders, failing to received time or read them does not waive your responsibility for your appointment time

  • Parents, you are responsible for your minors appointment

  • Please let us know of any health concerns or special requests prior to treatment so this may allow us appropriate time to make necessary preparations or adjustments

  • Please review the following contraindications for treatments thoroughly before booking an appointment as arrival to your appointment with contraindications may result in an inability to safely provide your treatment and rescheduling/late cancellation fees will

Contraindications for facials, massage or waxing include

  • Current or recent use of Accutane (must have discontinued for minimum of 6 months)

  • Current or recent use of Retinols such as Tretinoin, Retin-A, Renova, Differin, Tazorac, Avage, EpiDuo, Ziana & high percentage AHA & BHA products. We require temporarily discontinuing these products for a minimum of 7 days prior to treatment - please consult with your doctor before temporarily discontinuing use of any prescription medication

  • Sunburn on face or area being treated

  • Bruises or swelling

  • Open cut or abrasions on area being treated

  • Active Herpes/Cold Sores, Conjuntivitis (Pink Eye), severe Eczema, severe Psoriasis, Impetigo

  • Fungal Infection

  • Extreme allergic sensitivities

  • Illness - coughing, runny nose, sore throat with fever

  • Recent Botox or Filler - we do not do facial treatments within 48 hours of receiving Botox or within 2 weeks of Fillers

  • Facial/Acne treatments - do NOT wax the facial area within 7 days of your service

  • Pregnancy - Please let us know of you are pregnant or nursing

  • Health conditions - Please provide a Doctor’s note if you are undergoing treatment for any severe health condition or have surgery within the last 6 months

 

PARKING INFORMATION

If you will be driving yourself, it is all metered parking in this area. Parking does get a little tight around here so please give yourself ample time to find parking. We keep a lot of quarters on hand if you need change.
