At Honu You, we consider waxing an extension of skincare and wellness. Too often, we encounter new clients that have experienced waxing nightmares; ranging from quick regrowth and an abundance of ingrowns to those with severe burns and infections requiring medical attention. For these reasons and others, we start with a comprehensive consultation when you call to make an appointment. We don't wait until you arrive only to discover you have contraindications for waxing treatment, such as using facial products that may cause skin lifting during waxing eyebrows. Nor do we adopt a don't ask, don't tell policy whereby we just wax you and let you suffer the consequences of scabbing or infections later. We take a full history when you arrive for your first appointment and update it on subsequent appointments. We adhere to standardized procedures to ensure you consistently excellent results.Our therapists post treatment recommendations are intended to enhance your results as well as assist you in troubleshooting.

Each of the following treatments has three different price points;

MST - Master: Our master therapist has 18 years of consistent hands on experience. She is not only an expert at waxing, but a master at troubleshooting problems that you have concerning your skin and waxing.

HYC-Honu You Certified:Therapists that have successfully completed our training program overseen by our master therapist to offer the consistent quality Honu You Hawaiian Spa has built its reputation on.

INT/APP - Intern / Apprentice Price. Therapists are either an esthetician apprentice or a therapist new to Honu You Hawaiian Spa and in the process of completing our intensive training program.

When sloppy brows need help NOW, we use only the finest hard wax that not only leaves you looking tight and clean, you will experience the least pain and post redness waxing EVER! LIP STRIPS- INT / APP $15/ HYC $20 / MST $25
First of all, not just one strip. Secondly, includes chin when necessary. Our warm (not hot) hard wax is not only super gentle on this area, it allows us to reapply (several times if necessary) until the area is completely hairless (short undergrowth included). We include a take-home packet of our post waxing smoothing, soothing serum (eliminates post wax breakout and slows regrowth) for daily use which yields results that last 3-6 weeks.

SWEET CHEEKS-INT / APP $15 /HYC $20 /MST $25
We use a combination of hard and strip wax to achieve the best results. We include a take-home packet of our post waxing smoothing, soothing serum (eliminates post wax breakout and slows regrowth) for daily use which yields results that last 3-6 weeks. We usually mean your face here, however if its the other cheeks you need waxed, we can do that too.

As the name implies Spot Treat encompasses areas outside any of our described treatments.

Warm, not hot, hard wax makes this much less painful than most would imagine. Our land of endless summer makes this an absolute necessity. Unlike other areas of the body, we can wax underarms for the first time with as little as 3-5 days of hair growth with our hard wax. Of course more is better and yields better results but we understand this is a difficult area to let grow out.

CLASSIC BIKINI- INT / APP $21 /HYC $28 /MST $35
A great initiation treatment into the world of bikini waxing we take the sides in to the crease of the inner thigh.

TINI KINI- INT / APP $30 /HYC $40 /MST $50
Our practically painless bikini wax now in a bolder version, gets you as close to being a brazilian, without being a brazilian. For those that are reluctant it is s great way to try it out before fully commiting. We take the top down significantly and bring in the sides 2-3 inches leaving you with the perfect triangle that will happily accomodate most thongs.

The success of our Brazilians is in part due to our brazilian booking consult, if we discover you have current contraindications we do not book you. We realize other places are not as picky. Our waxing expert has employed these methods for 17 years with not one complaint. Once you arrive we expertly combine a warm soy wax and hybrid hard wax for uncompromising results. Completely bare, a landing strip or our mini triangle, your call. Results last 4-8 weeks.
